WEST MIDLANDS CANNOCK CHASE 2-HOUR STARGAZING EXPERIENCE

Have you ever wanted to explore the night sky with an experienced astronomer as your guide? Our 2-hour Cannock Chase private stargazing experience is perhaps exactly the gift you’re looking for! Astronomer Seb Jay brings the night sky to life from our Cannock Chase stargazing location just for you, your partner and / or your family and friends too. This is an exclusive experience where you have an astronomer all to yourselves.

Your astronomer will meet you at our Cannock Chase stargazing location near Brocton. We’ll likely get started with a laser-guided tour of the stars and constellations that we can see on your chosen stargazing date. We’ll then use a big portable telescope to take a trip out among the stars. On our stargazing journey we’ll visit an amazing array of celestial gems including ancient star systems, jewel-like star clusters, ghostly nebulae and distant galaxies beyond our own whose light has taken millions of years to reach our eyes! If the moon and / or planets are visible too we’ll visit them with the telescope as well.

In the 2-hour Cannock Chase stargazing experience gift box you get:

• 2-hour stargazing experience gift voucher for Cannock Chase in the West Midlands valid for 2 years initially, which can be extended for a further year free of charge if required.
• Instructions on how to use the voucher
• A map showing the stargazing location that we use in Cannock Chase

The 2-hour Cannock Chase stargazing experience is ideal for couples and families in the West Midlands who wish to explore the night sky with an astronomer, and without inteference from streetlights. All children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Voucher recipient may have up to 15 friends and family members share in the experience at no extra charge.

When can the voucher be used?

We run stargazing experiences all year round so you’re welcome to use the voucher for a week night or weekend night any time of the year, except 24 – 31 December, and subject to our astronomer’s availability. When arranging a date it is best to select a few nights so we have some options for bad weather. As we approach each of your booked dates we’ll check the weather forecast. If it is poor we’ll roll the experience forward to your next date, and continue to do so until we can run the stargazing for you.
