Enjoy a private 2-hour family stargazing experience at one of 35+ dark sky stargazing locations in England & Wales. Our astronomer will be on hand to guide you on a 2-hour stargazing experience with an observatory-grade telescope. Seek out star clusters, nebulae and galaxies beyond our own through the telescope with the help of our astronomer. If the moon and / or planets are visible at the time you'll see them close up too in the telescope. Got a telescope of your own? Bring it along and our astronomer can give you help and guidance on how to use it.
The 2-hour family stargazing experience is packaged as a gift voucher inside a luxury A5 gift box. The voucher is valid for 2 years and has the option to extend for an additional year free of charge. Family group size of up to 15 people.

2-Hour Family Stargazing Experience - Available at 35+ dark sky stargazing locations across England & Wales

Go stargazing with a professional astronomer and large observatory-grade telescope at your choice of 35 stargazing locations across the UK. Run exclusively for your family group we'll provide a stargazing adventure like no other. You'll meet our professional astronomer at one of the many stargazing locations we use across England and Wales for a grand tour of the night sky. Included is a laser-guided tour of the stars and constellations we can see on your stargazing night, and a journey out across the night sky with one of our large telescopes. Marvel at objects like the Orion Nebula close up, and see the light from distant galaxies including the Andromeda Galaxy. Best time to see the Andromeda Galaxy in the UK is from July through until March. You'll discover star systems, star cluster and ancient nebulae too from long-dead stars. If the moon and / or planets are visible at the time we'll get a look at them in the telescope as well. 

The private 2-hour family stargazing experience is presented as a gift voucher in a luxury A5 gift box. The voucher is valid for two years but can be extended for an additional year free of charge. If you'd like to add a personal message with the voucher you can do so during the checkout process. Gift boxed vouchers can be sent directly to the gift recipient, or sent to you to wrap and give to the intended recipient.

To use the family stargazing experience gift voucher the recipient simply needs to contact us for a list of available dates & times.

What if it is raining or cloudy? 

Naturally cloud and rain is always a threat. When using the voucher to book the stargazing experience we recommend choosing 2 or 3 nights initially on which you’d be happy for us to run the experience. If it is cloudy / raining on all selected nights then we’ll simply roll the experience forward to an alternative date that works. We can keep rolling the experience forward until we are able to run the stargazing for you.
