You'll have your very own professional astronomer and the use of an observatory-grade telescope for a journey out across the night sky like no other. See star systems, star clusters, nebulae and galaxies far beyond our own through the telescope with the help of our astronomer. If the moon and / or planets are visible at the time you'll see them close up too in the telescope. Got a telescope of your own? Bring it along and our astronomer can give you help and guidance on how to use it.

1-Hour Family Stargazing Experience from a Choice of Dark Sky Stargazing Locations

Run exclusively for family groups of between 3 people and 15 people our private 1-hour family stargazing experience is the perfect birthday or Christmas gift for budding stargazers and those with an interest in space and astronomy. Presented as a stargazing gift voucher inside a luxury A5 gift box the recipients have a choice of 35+ stargazing locations from which to enjoy their stargazing adventure. The voucher is valid for two years, and can be extended by a further year free of charge. The stargazing experience is a private session run exclusively for the recipient and their family. A professional astronomer runs the stargazing experience and supplies an observatory-grade telescope for the family to use on their stargazing night.

What if it is raining or cloudy? 

Naturally cloud and rain is always a threat. When using the voucher to book the stargazing experience we recommend choosing 2 or 3 nights initially on which you’d be happy for us to run the experience. If it is cloudy / raining on all selected nights then we’ll simply roll the experience forward to an alternative date that works. We can keep rolling the experience forward until we are able to run the stargazing for you.
