NORFOLK 2-HOUR STARGAZING EXPERIENCE

Go on an amazing stargazing adventure from a dark sky site in Norfolk with an experienced astronomer as your guide.  Ideal for couples, families and small groups you'll be taken on a laser-guided tour of the stars and constellations from the stargazing spot we use at Kelling Heath, and then on a journey out across the universe with one of our large reflector telescopes. Discover huge star clusters burning brightly thousands of light years away. Find the glow from a trillion stars making up the Andromeda Galaxy. See planets close up - get a view of the rings of Saturn and Jupiter's cloud belts and moons. See our own moon in breathtaking detail. Best time to see Jupiter and Saturn in 2024 and 2025 are in the autumn and winter skies.

In the 2-hour Norfolk stargazing experience gift box you get: 

• 2-hour stargazing experience gift voucher for use at the stargazing spot we use in Norfolk valid for 2 years from month of issue, and with option to extend for a further year free of charge if required

The 2-hour Norfolk stargazing experience voucher is dispatched in a luxury gift box, making for an ideal birthday present or Christmas gift for space-mad loved ones. The Norfolk stargazing experience is suitable for individuals, couples, families and small groups. It’s great for children too from age 7 upwards. All children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult. The voucher recipient may have up to 15 friends and family members share in the experience at no extra charge.

When can the Norfolk stargazing experience voucher be used? 

The stargazing voucher can be used on a week night or weekend night anytime of the year, except 24-31 December and subject to our astronomer's availability. Start times vary depending on season. In the wintertime we can start as early as 5:30pm. During midsummer we would start at 11pm or later, often in the late twilight with a view of Jupiter and / or Saturn.

What if it is raining or cloudy? 

Naturally cloud and rain is always a threat. When booking the stargazing experience we recommend that the voucher recipient select  2 or 3 nights initially on which they’d be happy for us to run the experience. If it is cloudy / raining on all selected nights then we’ll simply roll the experience forward to an alternative date that works. We can keep rolling the experience forward until we are able to run the stargazing for them.
